The water-soluble VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitor) market covers VCIs that dissolve or disperse in water, allowing easy application (e.g., sprays, immersion, coatings) to protect metals during storage, transport, or use. These agents release protective vapors and films that mitigate corrosion, especially in wet or humid environments.
